In his memory, we have established the Chad Dempsey Scholarship Fund, which will award $2,500 scholarships to four deserving band students from each high school in the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District.
About Chad Dempsey
Chad’s passion for music and education left an indelible mark on the lives of countless students. Even after his diagnosis with stage four glioblastoma, Chad’s positivity and dedication never wavered. He continued to teach and inspire, embodying resilience and perseverance. Chad’s philosophy was to inspire, improve, and help students grow bit by bit, one percent at a time. His legacy of encouragement and excellence will live on through the students who receive this scholarship.
